ReCall: Chloe Webb
Where the hell is Chloe Webb lately? Besides a spate of TV guest shots, she's been all but absent from the pop culture landscape.
We were first introduced to Ms. Webb when she played the quaalude-poppin' fag hag Mona Ramsey in "Tales of the City." Of course, she also played the tragic Nancy Spungen to Gary Oldman's Sid Vicious in the classic rock 'n' roll biopic Sid and Nancy. Hell, we even loved her tiny cameo in the you-probably-didn't-see-it 90's indie film Twenty Bucks.
After such landmark roles, we're sad Webb's just a footnote in film history, given the lackluster, hackneyed "actresses" working today. We thought the gal really had somethin'. At the very least, she knew how to play "high," a skill we greatly admire.
Oh well, we'll alway have our "Tales" DVD.

I was wondering this as well.
Chloe was at a party I was at last night. She just got done with an indie movie called Tru Lovd. It's making the minor festival rounds right now.
She was great in the tv series China Beach. Did you see her bit part in the Sandra Bullock movie "Practical Magic"? Yeah, I wish she was working again in something we'll ALL see!
