Curtain Call: Happy Birthday Will
Yesterday William Shakespeare celebrated his birthday. He's 442 years young and still as popular as ever. In his honor, the Royal Shakespeare Company is producing the Complete Works Festival in Stratford-upon-Avon, presenting all thirty-seven plays as well as Shakespeare's poems and sonnets. RSC favorites are scheduled to appear, with Patrick Stewart revisiting the role of Prospero in The Tempest and Ian McKellan closing out the festival as King Lear.
That's a pretty nice birthday gift. Sure beats a gift certificate from Bed, Bath & Beyond.
