Call Sheet: Sparkle, Ellen, Sparkle

In case she was in danger of having her gay card taken away, Ellen DeGeneres will make her award-winning talk show into a musical tomorrow, May 24th.

According to Playbill:
Entitled "Ellen the Musical," (what, no exclamation point?) the broadcast will boast the talents of Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth and actor Jack Black. The episode, according to the talk show's official website, will be filled "with singing, dancing and laughter . . . That's right, for the first time [in] daytime history, a talk show becomes a musical."

Hugh Jackman will also reportedly be there to dance a jig and promote X-Men 3: The Last Stand.

At the end of the taping, Ellen will have acchieved the highest level of gaydom known to man and spontaneously combust into glitter. So we've heard.
