Curtain Call: Tony Nominations

The 2005-2006 Tony Nominations were announced today. Strangely, Tarzan wasn't nominated for best musical, nor did Lestat. Phil Collins and Elton John, don't quit your day jobs.

Broadway neophyte Julia Roberts didn't get a nod for her work in Three Days of Rain. She'll have to be content with her Oscar we suppose.

It's a sad state of affirs for the Great White Way when the Jersey Boys is up for best musical, but then, who still pays attention to Broadway anyway?
