Direct Call: Tony Snow says it all!

White House Press Secretary Tony Snow had his first question and answer session today with the press corps. Let's just say that the whole event did not go swimmingly.

First, Snow did the requisite duck and dodge on many important questions. Then he preceded to defer questions. When the person he deferred to could not be heard, he read off of a list of bullet points. Then he wrapped up questioning on an important question on the government's wire tapping program without giving a good answer.

The press was not happy.

However, operatorLA thinks Snow has potential. Yes he made a few mistakes, but it was his first time, and he did do one thing that we at The Operator was great. He was perfectly honest.

While he was referring to the Q & A itself, we like to believe he was discussing the state of the White House when he said, "This is just a mess."
