here's the lowdown:

Marieta is a transvestite sex worker who suffers from a severe case of narcolepsy that tends to kick in at inconvenient times. Whenever Marieta passes out, she is transported into a Busby Berkeley-esque world of elaborately imagined song-and-dance routines. Marieta's got another problem, though: It's that pesky 20 centimeters of the title that is hanging between Marieta's legs. (20 centimeters is just shy of eight inches) Marieta has been saving up for surgery, but her roommate, Tomas, who happens to be a dwarf, keeps blowing her money on get-rich-quick schemes and cello lessons -- futile, since his arms aren't long enough for him to play.
