Ask The Operator: Pop Culture is boring me and I don't know what to do.

**from time to time, we here at the offices of THE OPERATOR receive some letters asking us our advice. Always one to lend a helping hand, THE OPERATOR will answer these questions in an effort to make the world a better place.**

Dear Operator,
My life has always been filled with the recent ups and downs of celebrity culture. I have always kept abreast of the newest couples, the hottest trends, the freshest entertainment and anything covered by Entertainment Weekly or US magazine. I was always a happy person and content to live out my fantasies through the people photographed in these mags. That is, until recently.

It seems that for the last few months my appettite for all things celeb has gone away. I tried to blame it on my busy work schedule and perhaps a maturity in my mentallity, but then I realized what the problem was. It was not me, but the celebrities. They are boring! No one has done anything remotely interesting in ages and the things that I would usually make fun of are so obvious, how can I relish in them. I mean, how can one take pleasure in knowing that Paris Hilton's album sucks when we knew it would ever since she announced its release.

I am near a breakdown and don't know what to do. I am turning to you Operator for guidance. Please help.

Boy, do we hear ya sister. Seems like things are going down the drain and fast. I mean who wants to keep making fun of Horse Face Jessica Simpson? The target is too easy. And Britney is so passe.

It doesn't look like this trend will be ending anytime soon, so our only advice to you is this: Go out, buy a box full of Vodka, get a prescription of xanax, mix appropriatley and watch re-runs of I Love The 90's , so that you can remember a time when our president would get his dick sucked instead of going to war, Madonna would sleep with anyone and Courtney Love looked a mess. (Well atleast some things never change)
