The Ring-A-Ding: NY courts quiet as a mouse, Cops raid NM bathouse, Cross burned at gay man's house
Well, equality is slow it seems as The Court of Appeals, the highest court in New York State, failed Wednesday to issue its widely expected ruling on same-sex marriage. We have to wait some more. Word is they didn't want to release any news on hump day! They thought it woudl be too cliche. [via 365 gay]
Wow this following story is like a gay porn meets an action movie. A police raid on an Albuquerque bathhouse got a little out of control when officers allegedly were wearing bullet proof vests and armed with semiautomatic weapons and ushering naked men into hallways and handcuffing them. I mean everyone wants to run into a hot cop at a bathhouse, butthis is ridiculous! [via 365 gay]
Finally... The Meigs County Sheriff's Department is investigating a possible hate crime after someone burned a cross at the home of a gay man in Athens, TN. State officials said that this may be a hate crime. May be? hmmm. let's think of what else it oculd be. Maybe Madonna was in town shooting a new video. [via Knox News]
