Wiretap: Scissor Sisters at Siren

Everyone's (at least our) favorite band The Scissor Sisters headlined this year's Siren Music Festival in Coney Island. The concert, punctuated by screams from the nearby Cyclone roller coaster, wasn't without its snags as the Sisters turned out a mix of favorites and cuts from their new album Ta-Dah (due out September 26th in the states).

First, Jake forgot the words to their biggest stateside hit, "Take Your Mama" at the top of the show. After that, things got rolling. Anna encouraged the crowd of jaded, sunburnt hipsters to drop their cool pose and shake their asses to new song "Paul McCartney." She also lamented the lack of dancing in New York in general.

During the soon-to-be hit single "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'" the power went out. The crowd waited. And waited. Power restored, they started the song over and it blew again. Finally, the got enough gas in the generator to finish the last three songs of the show. Jake stripped down to his scivvies, the crowd went wild, and all was right with the Scissorhood.

One more picture of the Scissor Sisters at Siren after the jump.
