Call Sheet: Time Magazine Hops on the Shortbus

In its fall arts preview, Time Magazine lists John Cameron Mitchell's Shortbus as one of its "unmissable" movies.

Half a dozen young folks meet in a salon to watch the cabaret, talk out their troubles and, as the mood strikes them, have sex--hard core and up close. Shortbus could be called the first middle-class porno movie, but that description wouldn't be fair to this engaging study of love and lust.

Their summary doesn't quite do justice to the art-faggery and indie spirit of the movie, but we bet it'll probably get some housewifes a little moist.
