The Ring-A-Ding: Santorum Withdraws Consent, Judge Tells Legislators to Get Bent, Candidate Thinks: That's Not What She Meant
We thought it was a little odd that the hateful bigot, Rick Santorum, would have publicly come out and signed a non-discrimination statement that included language against unfair practices towards people of any "sexual orientation or gender identity and expression." So we feel like everything is again right with the world not that he has backtracked and shown, once again, his spiteful, ignorant true colors. [via The Advocate]
Legislators in Iowa wanted to get involved in a case brought to the courts by six Gay and Lesbian couples who were fighting the constitutionality of their state's marriage laws. Essentially, the judge tells the legislators to get lost and leave the courts to their business. Yay, for separation of powers!! They understand the concept in Iowa, perhaps they should call the White House and give them a brief lesson. [via 365 gay]
