We reported yesterday that Arnold Schwarzenegger had hired a former lobbyist for the Traditional Values Coalition to work on his re-election campaign. Well Arnie has now changed his mind and let the lobbyist go. While We are not certain of the true reason of the hasty departure, it sounds like good news to us. [via 365 gay]

The executive director, Peter LaBarbera, of the well-known anti-gay group, Illinois Family Institute, is leaving the organization to start up a new group that will be based in Naperville. LaBarbera said that he was resigning to pursue his goal of creating a national organization dedicated to confronting the "homosexual activist agenda." We are taking bets on how the new organization will use the words "family" or "values" in their name. [via Page One Q]
