Cold Call: What's Love Got To Do With It?

Like most blogs, we here at The Operator love to indulge in unsubstantiated celebrity rumor-mongering, and have we got some juicy dish for you. Since this bit o' dirt hasn't even been whispered about in the likes of US Weekly or even the National Enquirer ( and since we don't want anyone getting litigious on our ass), we're going to go all Ted Casablanca and present it to you as our very first blind item. We'll neither confirm nor deny, but guesses are certainly welcome in the comments section.

Following the New York screening of a potential Oscar-worthy new film, a certain young Hollywood "It" couple were spotted exchanging heated words at the hotel hosting the after-party. Mr. Actor Pants stormed off to the bar, leaving his more famous wife and mother of his children all by her lonesome. The couple then left the event in a snit shortly thereafter. But that ain't the scandal. Apparently, professional jealousies have created a bit of an "Ike and Tina" situation on the homefront. Mr. Actor Pants is supposedly very physical with his wife, with our source telling us it stops just short of wife-beating. Mrs. Actor Pants has been seeking comfort by meditating at an LA Buddhist center. We don't know if she's sticking it out for the kids, but as they get older she may separate for their sake, rather than raise them in that environment.
