Recall: Looking Forward, Looking Back

As we prepare to enter into the the bright, shiny new era of a Democratic Congress (Hello, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi), and thereby a hopefully more honest, accountable governnment, we can't help but feel a little sad about the "asses of evil" we're leaving in the dirt. There's a thin line between love and hate, and though we've ousted Rick "man-on-dog love" Santorum, George "Macaca" Allen, Donald Rumsfeld, et al, a little tiny piece of us is going to miss them and their bigoted, homophobic, neo-con, all-star brand of crazy. The were our very own Legion of Doom.

Goodbye, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. We'll always have Ohio.
