operatorLA is a little worse for the wear today, which is usually the case on Wednesday mornings. You see, Tuesday is about the only night of the week that operatorLA let's loose and gets his party on! That is only because he has so much fun at MJ'S in Silverlake!

Tuesday night is called Rimjob at this psuedo- divey bar. And you best believe it lives up to its name! Projected on walls, hanging balls and all the video screens is hot porn. Add to that about ten of the best Go-GO boys that LA has to offer and mix in a crowd that is not pretentious and generally, attitude free (which is hard to find in these parts) and you have the makings of a fun night. Not too mention what you can get the "boys" to do for a few dollars, or what operatorLA has seen in the Shower Stall!

The music is described as "cock rock" and usually starts out the evening that way. Where else can you dance to "Pour Some Sugar on Me" or "Paradise City?" However, as the evening progresses, the music becomes a bit more varied with some hip-hop and pop thrown in. And, of course, they play Madonna. The best thing about this place is that people are not afraid to dance and have a good time.

If you are gonna go on Tuesdays, you want to arrive early. After 9:30 you are almost guaranteed a wait in line outside. operatorLA likes to arrive before 9pm to miss the traffic and at that time there is no cover. After 9pm the door is $6. The bartenders are personable and liberal with their alcohol and all well drinks and beers are buy one get the second for $1.
