DisConnected: Democracy needs to Die

I've known for awhile that Americans have a problem when it comes to voting. First there was the whole election debacle of 2000. Then there was the re-election of George Bush. We chose Rueben over Clay and, god help us, let us not even look at the dire spectacle that is the People's Choice Awards. But now my faith in democracy and the voice of the people has been completely shaken. I am at a point of no return. No longer will I believe that Americans can make prudent choices when casting a ballot, for they have placed Grease II as the Worst Sequel Ever Made That Entertainment Weekly overlooked. Grease, mother fucking II. You bitches is demented, y'all! This movie so rocks that I can't even tell you. In operatorLA's humble opinion, it far outshines Grease. As a child I would watch this movie over and over. It has a classic score. Who can forget such hits as "Let's Do It For Our Country" and "Who's That Guy?" operatorLA can do the whole "Cool Rider" number in his sleep. Not to mention the fact that I can't pass a bowling alley without singing to myself "We're Gonna Score Tonight!" Lorna Luft was in this movie, people!

This is indeed a sad, sad day for America and Democracy.
