Curtain Call: Repackaging the Goods.

Guess which bubbly comedy is getting the Broadway musical treatment in '07? Legally Blonde. Seriously? Going to the theatre is like perusing the shelves at Blockbuster. At this rate, we'll be seeing a musical version of Miss Congeniality any day now.

Rent celebrated its tenth anniversary on Broadway this week. Safe to say that property is gentrified.

What other movie is being turned into a Broadway show? High Fidelity. Boy this game gets tired. At least HF was a novel first.

At least in London they've got style and class. Oh, wait, they're staging Thriller the musical (yes, as in the music of Michael Jackson) in the West End this summer.

Critics are more bloodthirsty than the vampires in Elton John's musical Lestat. We can't believe the great white gay flopped on the Great White Way.
