Hotline: Bend It Like Kuno Becker

OperatorNYC has never professed an interest in sports, but boys are another subject entirely. Which is what led to seeing Kuno Becker in in the soccer, pardon us football, film Goal! Now OperatorNYC's dying to grab a pint at the pub and watch some balls flying around.

Becker plays a Mexican immigrant (topical!) who gets the chance to fulfill his dream and ends up playing for Newcastle United. The plot is nothing you haven't seen before but who cares -- Becker is easy on the eyes and the football matches are riveting.

They're already filming two sequels to Goal!, and OperatorNYC is first in line for tickets.
