Oh Hollywood! You studio driven purveyor of American culture. You junk food distributor to the masses. Only you, Hollywood, could try and make social statements through big budget summer blockbusters. Hence your ever so cleverly hidden homosexual undertones in the X-Men series. And by "ever so cleverly hidden" The Operator means tremendously overt.

We didn't mind, Hollywood, in the first two X-Men movies because they were good and directed by a queer. However, the newest installment doesn't have that great of a buzz on the street. But what can we expect from a new director who is uber-straight and whose biggest movies to date were the 'Rush Hour" franchise.

But oh you are a clever one, Hollywood, you know that even if the gay "sub-text" isn't that great, you can get the queers in the seats if you fill the movies with hot men. And you are right! Thank you , Hollywood, for showing us some fine specimens like James Marsden.
