411: Meat Sweats

OperatorNYC loves him some meat. Especially the pork variety. In fact, he consumed some tasty dry-rub ribs the other night. But when he announced to his dining companions he had the meat sweats, they looked at him like he was crazy. Not so. According to wikipedia, the meat sweats is a term:

used to describe a condition that strikes certain eaters in meat-centric competitions. First identified by writer David Kreizman, the meat sweats overwhelm some gurgitators with profuse perspiration. This systemic condition is reportedly prompted by the combination of protein and adrenaline.
