OMFG we despise Laura Albert, the woman who gained literary success by posing as the runaway, transgendered, teen prostitute-turned-author JT Leroy.

Now, Alpert's literary hoax has landed her an interview with the hallowed Paris Review (excerpt here) and she is shopping around her memoirs (Apparently these will be based in some sort of veracity, but given her track record for deception and self-promotion, we doubt it!).

If her life was so interesting, so worthy of memoir, why the fuck did she waste time posing as a teenage boy? And forget the pat pop psychology she uses in the interview to justify her actions. This woman craves the spotlight, and the sooner people start ignoring her the quicker she'll go away.
