The Ring-A-Ding: Australian Less Brawny, Wisconsin A Bit Brawl-y, SoulForce Is Still Bawdy
So Mark Latham, the former leader of the Australian Labor party has written a book. The title of the book is, A conga line of suck holes. Yes, you heard us correctly-A conga line of suck holes. As if that isn't bad enough within, the pages of his tome, he states, "those big cities are full of gays. Those gays are diluting men with their gayness." First of all, if the gays are doing anything to men Down Under we doubt it is diluting. And Mr. LAtham has no room to speak on gayness with a book titled, A conga line of suck holes.
If you are a regular reader (as you should be by now), you will then know operatorLA's opinion on the whole gay marriage debate- or blah, blah, blah...- as he likes to call it. There are more important things that our community needs to be worrying about than conforming to a straight, outdated conception of relationships. Anyway, we do get a little heated about it, but we don't get agro enough to resort to fisticuffs. However, some people in Wisconsin sure do. One discussion, at a restaurant in Wauwatsa, a town of about 47,000 near Milwaukee, the conversation at one table turned into a fight. Videotape shows a man in a suit pushing one opponent of the amendment and then punching another. The tape shows the man walking out and then returning and throwing ketchup bottles and other objects. We may get upset people but we don't take it out on condiments.
We won't stop reporting on it until they stop protesting, so hear's to hoping that you see a ton of posts about Soulforce. We love this group! Demonstrators protesting against "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," the ban on gays serving openly in the military, were arrested in Spokane and Little Rock on Wednesday. Three people were charged with trespassing at an enlistment office in Spokane, Washington when they held a sit-in.
