The Ring-A-Ding: Schwartzenegger Can't Decide, Jews May Get Gay Rabbis, Moscow Couple decides Not To Hide

In the ever flip-flopping world that is Schwartzenegger politics, he has once again gone the "not-too gay" route to please his Republican base. A bill passed by state lawmakers would have barred school textbooks from using language that is discriminatory to gays, but California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger refused to sign it. Rabbi Jerome Epstein, executive vice-president of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, says a committee of scholars who interpret Jewish law for the movement will likely loosen the prohibition on Gay Rabbis when they vote in December. So, this story was everywhere yesterday and The Operator was not going to comment because we didn't see what the big deal was. Some Russian exhibitionists decide to blow each other in a public square- big whoop! But upon further examination, operatorLA decided to let you in on the story. It's not the fact taht these two guys, get naked, dance, kiss and and then give each other oral sex in front of a crowd that has piqued our interest. It is the crowd itself. In the photos snapped by a member of the group you can clearly see that the crowd is mixed-men and women-and that a few of them are applauding. This is in Moscow, which has been having a very tough struggle with gay rights. Maybe somethign like this could happen in WEHO or Chelsea without anyone batting an eye, but I dare say that anywhere else in America, these two fellas woudl have been spit upon, or even attacked for what they did. I commend them for giving it up, Beautiful Thing style.
