The Ring-A-Ding: Bush In A 2004 Fog, Military Warns About Gay Blogs, Catholics Have A Wrench In Their Cogs
Wow, what year is it again? I woke up from a tequila stupor, turned on the news to hear Bush bashing the gays at election time and assumed it was still 2004. Boy, was I wrong. It seems that the election doesn't look like it is going to go the red way. Now, with polls predicting bleak results for Republicans, Bush is trying to fire up his party by decrying gay marriage.
Um.. hear is your official Operator Facism report: According to the Associated Press, military officials are now monitoring “official and unofficial blogs and other websites” and looking at areas military personnel may visit. We understand that when you enter the military you are as good as government property but there has to be some sort of personal space.
operatorLA grew up Catholic. In fact at some point in his life he wanted to be a priest. But then something happened that turned him off of the church. No he wasn't molested (Which means he was an ugly child), but a priest told him he wasn't ready for a Sacrament. That's when he learned that the Church is an organization just like anything else. And it still looks that way. Children adopted by gay couples may be baptized in the Roman Catholic Church, even though the church does not support such adoptions, calling them "a pastoral concern," So Gays- Not OK. Kids of Gays-OK. Where does anyone get off telling a person whether they can have a certain personal relationship with God or not?
