The Ring-A-Ding: Madonna May Add More To Family, Atlanta Opposes "Don't Ask" Policy, More Reports on Foley's Follies
If you were lucky (and rich enough) to catch Madonna's last tour, you will not be surprised to learn that she is taking up the AIDS in Africa issue with fervor. C'mon, she crucified herself over the issue. Madonna arrived in Malawi on Wednesday on a mission to help AIDS orphans and may leave with a child adopted in this impoverished southern African country.
We were surprised to hear this story coming out of Georgia. Usually, the South is very homophobic and completely Republican (we know, we used to live there), but it seems Atlanta is a bit more Metropolitan than we thought. In an 11-2 vote, the Atlanta City Council passed a resolution this week calling on Congress to repeal the federal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" ban on lesbian, gay and bisexual service members, making it the first Southern city to join the fight against the controversial policy.
Foley is in Trouble and not only that but the Republican fall out over this one isgoing too be huge!! You can count on it. Heree is your Foleygate round-up:
Read this story on the politics of outing Politicians.
