DisConnected: Trans Fats in NY

We like to think of New York and Los Angeles as sister cities. But only if the sisters were twins on a soap opera. And only if one of them was good and the other was bad. You know, one sister would be blonde and vacuuous and the other raven-haired and aggressive. In this little scenario that plays out in our head, NY=Bad and LA=Good.

Well, leave it to politicians to completely undermine operatorLA's whole perception of the universe. NYC has gone and banned trans fats from restaurants. We were mighty surprised considering that we don't even know what a trans fat is. Is a trans fat a fat that feels like it is a protein deep down inside?

We expected this kind of thing in LA where everything healthy is completely en vogue. But we will just assume henceforth that no one in LA cares because they are just going to throw up their entire meal anyway.

Oh, we have one other question- Are there trnas fats in xanax or vodka? Because if there is, we know a certain blogger or two who will soon be criminals.
