411: What Happened to Joementum?
If like us, you have more than a passing interest in our nation's politics, then you probably know that Senator Joe Lieberman was thoroughly trounced last night in the Connecticut primary by challenger Ned Lamont. Lieberman, a "Fox News Democrat"(aka Boot-licking Bushie), isn't taking his loss like a mensch. Nay, Lieberman now says he'll run as an independent:
As I see it in this campaign, we just finished the finished the first half and the Lamont team is ahead,’’ he said. “But in the second half, our team — Team Connecticut — is going to surge forward to victory in November.”
Team Connecticut? There's no "I" in team, and you sir are decidedly self-centered. If you really cared about the citizens of Connecticut, you'd do them a favor and go away. If you really were a Democrat, you'd realize your party doesn't want you representing their interests and go away. But no, you're that dude that doesn't realize the party is over, even when the hostess is clearing away the table and everyone else has gone home or passed out. You're still there, draining every last inch of fun from the moment, just hanging on until someone kicks you out.
Joe, the party is over and it's last call. Get out.
