411: What Keeps Rummy Up All Night?

Apparently, it's the success of terrorist groups in "manipulating the media" to influence Westerners. Well, we know it ain't his conscience keeping him from getting a solid eight.

Rumsfeld, speaking to a group of Naval personnel, told the assembled that:

"They are actively manipulating the media in this country" by, for example, falsely blaming U.S. troops for civilian deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan."

Right, Don. The "enemy" has totally hacked the media, sure. "They" are providing all those pesky facts. And photographic evidence.

"They can lie with impunity," he said.

Apparently, so can Don Rumsfeld. Who's the enemy now, beeyotch?
